Day 2

Once again we are thankful for God's protection throughout the day. Not only for the bikers, but for us traveling in the vehicles as well. We'll leave the boys to say the rest... : )

Words from the Pedalers -

Paul- "It was a day filled with sunshine, soft breezes, and smiling faces."

Jonathan- "In contrast with yesterday, today was an amazing ride! The weather was perfect and we all worked as a great team. Looking forward to tomorrow!"

Josh- "Despite 2 blown tires, it was a great ride. My first century. And Nick, I thought of you as I passed mile marker 78. =D"

Andrew- "Sun rays, cloudless sky… What an incredible day of biking and strengthening friendship ties! "

Stan- "Day 2… Beautiful weather, beautiful ride! 51 miles… Woohoooooooo!! My longest ride ever."

Zack- "It was an enjoyable day and I was able to get 40 miles in!"

The accident scene

Uncle Stan and us (Kirsten and Becky) were rear-ended this evening on our way to the campground. We were only 5 miles from our destination and were totally bummed to have to sit in the dark for an hour and a half and miss supper with everyone else. But praise God that no one was hurt badly! We are sore and exhausted though.... So good night to all! : )

Btw, check out our route page to see our progress each day!

Fantastic pictures once again. Love all the dog shots sprinkled throughout:)
Oh no! Is that the iconic shape of the beloved Geo I see silhouetted in that last shot? Thankful for God's protection for you all.
